Day 1: Marrakech – Skoura Oasis
Via the High Atlas Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, the beautiful Ounila Valley and Kasbah of Telouet, the UNESCO World Heritage Site Ait Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate.
Day 2: Skoura Oasis
A day to relax and explore the life style and environment on a glorious walk through the oasis gardens, visit a traditional pottery and women’s textiles association and meet the locals.
Day 3: Skoura – Erg Chebbi
Via the Dades Valley of 1,000 Kasbahs and Todra Gorge, stop and explore the Tinjdad Museum, Khettara Wells and fossil displays if you wish.
Day 4: Erg Chebbi Dunes
Circumnavigate the dune system on a fantastic journey, drink tea with the nomads, enjoy gnawa musicians and finish the day with a sunset camel ride and overnight camp (or guesthouse accommodation – as you wish)
Day 5: Erg Chebbi to Nkob
Via the Jebel Sahro Mountains – a spectacular drive along a less travelled route through the rugged arid regions of the south to the village of Nkob where you will experience a very Moroccan regional village.
Day 6: Nkob – Marrakech
Return via the dramatic Draa Valley and Anti Atlas Mountains to Marrakech over the Tizi’n’Tichka Pass.
