Zig Zag BOOKING CONDITIONS
Please read the conditions set out below prior to booking your trip with ZIG ZAG Tours Morocco (ZIG ZAG). ZIG ZAG is affiliated with Travel & Cruise Wangaratta, a registered Australian Travel Agent Licence No. 30672. On confirmation of your booking we will provide a Booking Confirmation Invoice and Detailed Itinerary with notes for you to read.
AGREEMENT
By booking a trip with ZIG ZAG you are deemed to have agreed to these Booking Conditions. The specific services to be provided are those referred to in the Detailed Itinerary provided with your Booking Confirmation Invoice.
DEPOSIT
You are required to pay a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the cost of your ZIG ZAG Crafted Tour to secure your booking. A Booking Confirmation Invoice will be provided with a Detailed Itinerary and notes. If your booking is made within 60 days of the departure date then the full amount is payable at the time of booking.
BALANCE AND FINAL PAYMENTS
Acceptance of your booking will be confirmed by us in writing/email with details regarding final payments. Payment of the balance of the trip price is due 60 days before the departure date. If this balance is not paid on or before the due date we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled.
TIPS KITTY
Group Tours require you to contribute to a Tips Kitty. The Tips Kitty is put into a central fund and overseen by the tour leader to pay for porters, hotel staff, casual guides and to tip the principle tour guide and driver on behalf of the group. Refer to the Detailed Itinerary that comes with you Booking Confirmation.
YOUR DETAILS
In order for us to confirm your booking you must provide all requested details on the booking form provided at the time of your final payment or 60 days before the departure date. This includes full name as per passport, date of birth, nationality, passport number, passport issue and expiry date, emergency contact, special dietary requirements, any pre-existing medical conditions, details of your Travel Insurance including policy number and contact details. Your booking cannot be confirmed without provision of these details.
CANCELLATION BY THE TRAVELLER
Cancellations 60 days or more prior to departure will forfeit the deposit; Between 30 and 59 days prior to departure, we will retain 50% of the total booking cost; and Less than 30 days prior to departure we will retain 100% of fees paid by you for the booking. If you leave a trip for any reason after it has commenced we are not obliged to make any refunds for unused services.
CANCELLATION BY ZIG ZAG
We may cancel a trip at any time prior to departure if external events make it not viable for us to operate the planned itinerary or if a group tour is undersubscribed. If we cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances you will receive a full refund. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking such as visas, vaccinations or non-refundable flights.
BOOKING AMENDMENTS
If you wish to transfer from one trip to another or transfer your booking to a third party you must notify us at least 60 days prior to the proposed departure date. No amendments are permitted to your booking within 60 days of departure.

Your trip does not include: international or internal flights, airport transfers unless specified, meals other than those specified in the Detailed Itinerary, Visa and passport fees, travel insurance, optional activities and sightseeing and all personal expenses, Tips kitty
PRICES & SURCHARGES
Our trip prices are based on the Moroccan Dirham and EURO and may be subject to currency exchange rates at the time of booking and additional Bank Fees for Credit Card payments. We reserve the right to impose surcharges up to 60 days before departure due to unfavourable changes in live exchange rates, increases in local operator costs, taxes, or if government action should require us to do so.
AGE MINIMUM
All travellers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for the child’s day to day care.
AGE MAXIMUM
There is no upper age limit though we remind you that our trips can be physically demanding, in particular Trekking tours. Most guesthouses have stairs, sometimes steep and no elevators are available. The general urban landscape can also have uneven ground and trip hazards. We do not recommend travelling to Morocco if clients have mobility problems. A Self-Assessment form may be required for passengers 70 years and over.
PASSPORT AND VISAS
You must carry a passport valid for 6 months beyond the duration of the trip. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of the correct visas, permits and certificates for your trip.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is compulsory for all ZIG ZAG clients and should be taken out at the time of booking. Your travel insurance must provide cover against personal accident, death, medical expenses and emergency evacuation. You must provide proof of your travel insurance 60 days before departure or on final payment to secure your booking. You will not be able to join the trip without it.
CHANGE OF ITINERARY FLEXIBILITY
The itinerary provided for each trip may be subject to alteration without prior notice due to local circumstances or events. While we endeavour to operate all trips as described we reserve the right to change the trip itinerary and will provide notice of any intended changes.
AUTHORITY ON TOUR
Our group trips are run by an experienced and reliable ZIG ZAG Host or Principle Guide. Any decision of the Host or Principle Guide is final, on all matters affecting the tour. Clients who fail to comply with any reasonable decision made by a Host or Principle Guide, or who interfere with the well-being of the group may be asked to leave the tour with no right of refund. Clients must at all times comply with the local laws and respect customs.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
In Morocco we engage local companies, agencies and individuals to assist in the running of our tours and are not responsible for the acts and omissions of these third parties. You release us and our officers, employees, agents and representatives from any liability and expressly waive any claims you may have against us arising out of or in connection with your participation in a ZIG ZAG Tour.
DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
The food in Morocco is delicious, varied and healthy. At ZIG ZAG we take the best care to source fresh food and only eat at recommended venues. Our tours can cater for vegetarian clients. However, clients with other special needs, such a gluten free foods, need to bring some of their own provisions. Wheat based bread is a staple of the Moroccan diet and breakfasts generally consist of a variety of delicious breads, pastries and pancakes. Access to a variety of gluten free or specialist foods is not possible in remote locations. Fresh meat, fruit and vegetables are readily available.
COMPLAINTS
If you have a complaint about your trip please inform your tour Host or Principle Guide at the time in order that they can attempt to rectify the matter. Any further complaint should be put in writing to us within 30 days of the end of the tour.
PHOTOS AND MARKETING
You consent to ZIG ZAG using images of you taken during the trip for promotional purposes.
PRIVACY POLICY
Any personal information that we collect about you will only be used by ZIG ZAG for purposes associated with the operation of a tour or to send you marketing material in relation to ZIG ZAG Tours.
