Day 1: Marrakech – Skoura Oasis
Via the High Atlas Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, the Ounila Valley, Telouet Kasbah, UNESCO World Heritage Site Ait Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate to Skoura Oasis.
Day 2: Skoura Oasis
A day to relax and explore the life style and environment on a glorious walk through the oasis gardens, visit a traditional pottery and women’s textiles association and meet the locals.
Day 3: Skoura – Erg Chigaga Desert Camp
Via the Anti Atlas Mountains and Draa Valley, Zagora to an overnight camp and sunset camel ride.
Day 4: Erg Chigaga Dunes – Taroudant
Drive off road across the Sahara via Foumzguid and the Anti Atlas Mountains to the ancient city of Taroudant.
Day 5: Taroudant
A free day in this glorious ancient medina with two distinct market places to explore, fantastic traditional Amazigh (Berber) jewellery and leather crafts including /medieval-style boots – distinctive wares not found in Marrakech – a special treat for shopping.
Day 6: Taroudant – Marrakech
Return to Marrakech via a less travelled route and the Tizi-n-Test High Atlas Mountain Pass. The spectacular views will amaze. Stop and visit the restored ruins of the ancient Tinmel Mosque and enjoy views of the Toubkal National Park.
