Travel across the High Atlas Mountains Tizi’n’Tichka Pass and the beautiful Ounila Valley stopping to see the famous Glaoui Kasbah of Telouet and the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, one of the most spectacular Ksars (adobe walled city) in Morocco where families still live following ancient traditions. At Ait Ben Haddou you will have a guided tour of the village, including an opportunity to enter a private home for a unique insight into the architecture and traditional life-style of the people. Walk to the very top of the village where they stored and defended their valuables and take in the vast panoramic views of the surrounding valley and mountains.
Have a relaxing day exploring the Skoura Oasis where you can walk through the village and gardens to see how the locals continue simple subsistence farming, make traditional pottery and hand-woven rugs before returning to Marrakech via the Tizi’n’Tichka Pass.
